Afternoon,

Me mates just boght a brand new replacement for his Sony and I've been telling him that "sony" will not want you to use any other batetry in there laptops etc.

We've plugged it in and it's come up with a message about the BIOS.....

The english on the instructions is pretty piss poor....

I would be a little dubious about installing that "Bios Patch"..... What does the instructions on the disk say...??

yeah that's what I didn't want to do with the bios and the like, I'll get the disk and have a read see if there's a PDF etc in there.

We've plugged it in and the lights flashing but it ain't charging, I've told him it's because sony wants everything locked down to them and there kit only for spares etc.

Not much more on the PDF.....

Seems legit from the PDF.....I personally would read it, and give it a go.....
