Hi folks, i have followed the letterbomb method of installing homebrew on 4.3e, but the link on the tut site says downloads exceeded, has done for 3 - 4 days now, don't just want to download any softmod software incase it is wrong, the tut listed on here also seems to have the sofware link not working.
i will pay for the download from the chris lowthian tut if that is what is needed but just wanted to check first anyone else has been ok with it, or if anyone can point me in the right direction for the correct software it would be welcomed.

ok i've now downloaded the softmod software and extracted to the sd card, only problem now is once i put the sd card in the wii nothing is showing in the homebrew channel, how do i now install the wiimod 2.9,

how come i cannot edit my posts anymore ?
anyway thought i would write it better as the last post is a little thin on info so start again.

i have followed the install for the letterbomb no problems, homebrew channel is installed and showing on 4.3e,
i then had to download wiimod 2.9 (the link on chris's site has exceeded the limits) so i have a copy of the software from elsewhere, i have extracted this to the formatted sd card and put into the wii, nothing is showing on the HB channel, i hit the no 1 button and tried to click the sd button, nothing.
i'm now stuck.
have i done something wrong or do you think i have the wrong mod software .

should i just use the hackmii installer bundle and put my wii online , is this a better option for me.
please any help is welcomed

google modmii,

once installed , tell it you want to mod a 4.3 wii using letterbomb, instal all active iois's and both usb loaders (fat32 on harddrive seems to be the most popular method now).

it will prepare all files and generate a custom tut for you.

full thing will take you 30minutes. (ten minutes if you have already backed-uped your nand)

ok i,ve done the modmii and installed all, i have aslo added darkcorp as i wish to play back ups as well, but i cannot get the disks to work, i cannot test the usb drive as yet as i need to get hold of HD next week, i'm aware some wii's will not play dvd-r's but is there a way of finding out how old the drive or wii is , as i bought a secondhand model just before xmas.

i've also read modmii installs a disk app , i cannot find the spinning disk anywhere

just to add i have installed neogamma, when i try and run dvd it comes up with an error the says DVD-R + no cIOS

doen't modmii install the cIOS ?
