years ago I posted about this and I'm wondering with all the new mods, hacks and software, is there any thing out there to rip audio, sound tracks from games, I want the "tickers" from gow3 as a message tone, it's the simple things that please.! (I know the HDMI capture cards are down to £100 which is great for the video, of course I could do it manually using the capture software I have for the audio, but ripping all the tunes from a game and noises etc. straight from disk would be great, like "how do you like them apples, and things like that from bad company")

I read the games are all compiled in M$'s own special format, and I've seen when I've uploaded a few to the jtag that there's a few AVI files, (if memory serves me right but don't hold me on that one, how many have sat and watched a game FTP over? I do! (I know sad ain't it!) sure I've seen an AVI of some thing getting transferred, will check the jtag HDD tomorrow some time....)

Oh but you could use the 360 audio dongle out the back there to send it to your PC and use sound recording software right there, instead.

yeah that's what I can do, surly we have a way of ripping yet? I would hope so, we can rip an ISO to a HDD (see all the files) but we can't manipulate the files into some thing that windows would read etc. There all compiled in that funny m$ compiler thingy ma bob.......dam em!

For the last 10 years I've used jet audio it's fast and can change the bit rates always available as a full programme free off fosi , it does lots more I've posted a version on DW in the share section
