Re: Screwed missuses Vega up help please.

This may help, you need to use a program called vegafixer

all instructions are shown by VegaFixer when you start it, but here is a step by step instruction:
    1. Take your SDcard out of your tablet and attach it to your PC
    2. Start VegaFixer.jar.
    3. Click on “Find my backup”
    4. Navigate to your SDcard, clockworkmod folder, backup folder and select the backup you want to restore.
    5. Click on “Create this backup”
    6. Wait until VegaFixer finished creating the backup. (“Find my backup” text changes from light grey to black)
    7. Open the VegaFixer folder on your hard disk
    8. Start your Vega in NVFlash recovery mode, make sure power and USB cable to PC are attached before you enter NVFlash recovery mode.
    9. Double click “SuperVegaRestore.bat” (Windows) or SuperVegaRestore.sh (Linux)
    10. Your Vega will be restored.

From what I can see m8 you can restore the backup you took using a program called vegafixer and the above instructions,
of course this is providing you have a backup stored on the memory card.

This I presume will return the Vega to the state it was before you meddled with it,I think lol

Found this on another site and it worked for the guy with the same problem

How about, backup your apps + data using backup app or titanium, then wipe everything and do a fresh installation ,restore all your apps again. Just my opinion.

Ok thanks. I did this and the Vega appears with wording of 'Entering NV Flash'.

I ran the SuperVegaRestore.bat and the following is displayed on the command prompt:

    Press enter to continue:

Then nothing else happens after that.

At the end of that text, it says 'file not found: bootloader.bin'. I looked in the directory 'C:\Users\E6400\Downloads\VegaFixer\tools'
and there is a bootloader.bin. Hope that can give you some clue.

UPDATE: I copied the files, 'VegaFixer' had created in the 'Tools' folder and copied them to one folder level up to the VegaFixer folder, than I ran SuperVegaRestore.BAT and all is well now. Some apps don't work properly but none the less, its 'Alive' again.
