The seller is 0 rated, and oddly it appears that someone else having just watched it was bidding it up. Went for £900 (still a bargain though and I was half tempted to bid also)

Always dubious of those types of auctions, also why sell it without even showing it booted up and working?

Don't know just all feels very odd. The whole buying things off eBay without a picture of the real item never really understood that either. For that much money you would want to see if from every aspect.

yeah look fishy to me, persoanlly wouldnt buy anything like that off ebay unless the seller had immaculate feedback of selling things of that nature beforehand, and certainly wouldnt buy from another country, worst comes to worst suppose they'll get there money back from paypal anyway. and do paypal not hold the money now from new sellers until the buyer has left posotive feedback for the item, so maybe is genuine who knows!

thats usually the first part of the scam 2nd part is an email stating problem with paypal can u send money via another method ie bank trans cable etc.... almost certain to be a scam...

I wouldn't even look at such a purchase from someone with zero feedback, or even with tons of feedback from selling small items such as ebooks or junk.

£900 for someone in Peru seems quite a bit.

i went for of these auctions once, back in 2007, for an acer 5050 laptop brand new ......

the seller had a feedback of about 50 i think, he ended the auction early which made me the winner.....

he sent me the laptop even b4 he had cashed the cheque lol....

im still using the lappy to this day
