There are hundreds of battery's on ebay all different models:

BA S410, BA S450, BA S470, BA S530, G10, G7, G5

That is just from the top of my head...

I have an iphone4s that at this moment in times can go on for 2-3 days.

However my desire is maybe 1-2 years old getting on a little and struggles to last the day, the problem I have is that I need the desire for some of its app's you just can't get some of the apps on iphone (wifi analyser to name one).

Anyway I checked my phone, its an A8181 in the about me section, I also looked at the battery and it's a 35H00132-06M

I can't find a replacement battery, I was looking at these 2400ma batterys that are around £15 from ebay but which fecking battery... how many models of these things have they made... its a jungle out there I tell you!

Any help from a desire expert would be fantastic.

just thought i would add a bit, DONT TOUCH THOSE batterys, they are all fake!!!.
I had one and it was worst than the original and ended up swelling up, it was a real job getting it out.
for about 12-18 quid you can get and orignal cell, or better still hack the phone and put a cooked rom on, mine lasts easy 2 1/2 days on the orignal battery with custom roms.

is there a guide to do this m8, as since the day ive had my desire, the battery has been total shite, with the mobile net turned off, and just about everything else turned off, ill get about 10 hours out of it, if mobile net is on, itll last about 5 hours

the phone is the best ive ever had, but the battery on it is the worst ive ever had

Im using Cyanogenmod on my desire which doesn't use htc sense & battery life as improved. Another bonus is that before i installed the rom i was getting the "low space" warning so i backed all my apps using titanium installed the new rom and changed to a custom hboot and now with all the same apps installed i have 190mb free (thats without a2sd+)

Sounds like your battery may need replacing, on the rom im using:
Off charge: 37 hours 24 minutes
Talk Time: 72 Minutes
Wifi 3 Hours 55 minutes
Data 43 minutes
Screen on time 3 Hours 27 minutes
28% Battery left

Time to stick it on charge :)

My HTC Desire lasts from 7.30am to around 4pm, it's actually driving me mental lol... I just bought one of them batteries :(

I do notice that the original software tends to start fecking apps all the time, and I am forever getting the out of memory bullshit.

I have not charged my iphone4s for almost 3 days its on about 10% now and will probably last till mid day tomorrow. plus its new and the kids wont put it down!!!

If you need help ask as it can be daunting trying this, seems to be a few on here who are rooted so you should be ok.

Ok ive been using this new battery since Thursday night, youtube and interweb as well as phone calls and texts, and i still have enough for the rest of today so im happy with it, and im connected to my wifi.

Paul, I'm considering purchasing one of these batteries, can you tell me if it's still working / caused you any problems please? Would you recommend one or should I just get the OEM replacement?

Cheers!
