Two days! It was a record lol didn't update properly this morning I'll just reboot the box every few days or something. It's strange that when we had the internal flash issue this epg thing never happened, has the revised code buggered something else up?

while doing a manual scan this morning is spotted something not sure if its relefent, but while going through the update it went very slow and when it finished it stopped on radio screen, had to restart enigma to clear it. not sure if that helps you chaps or not.

tbh and I really dont mean to sound rude or nasty but a simple reboot a couple of times a week sorts this messing and installing things I personally think you are making things worse ?

Are you getting no epg showing ?
I still get my epg showing, I never check my epg.dat as i'm not interested so long as I get epg.
The finding the box on the radio channel was a problem I had with opentv, I just hit the tv button on the remote, it was that irritation that made me stop using opentv yonks ago.

So just to clear something up are you getting no epg or are you just bothered about the date on the epg files ?

to be honest m8 i have never lost my epg via open tv its just the epg.dat file dont update everytime i run the epgloader as i do mine manually, mybe im or should i say we are makeing to much out of this and itd not that big an issue, which file does the epg come from ext.epg.dat or the epg.dat file?

The epg you see in bouquets comes from the file epg.dat.

If your not losing epg I don't see what your problem is tbh
I wouldn't worry until I lost my epg and that hasn't happened yet to me.

I'm not sure anyone has waited a whole weeks worth of epg to see if its OK after the time the epg.dat has updated itself tbh

I was about 4 days in the the epg.dat file not updating but I was forced to reboot the box lol so the next day it updated
