Following the Japan earthquake several months back it is only now just hitting us in some places... Aswell as the floods in Thailand, Hard drive prices have gone through the roof!! Demand and supply aye!
Prices have gone crazy. Only Western digital and Toshiba seem to have been flooded from what i read.Yet the greedy fooking suppliers ramped up the prices of all hard drives.
I replace at least ten per week. It's getting quite embarrassing try justify the extra costs to the end user.

I was looking at a WD Caviar Black hard drive on Monday, the cost was ~£55. Today £78.86!

tl;dr
I don't see the i issue, couple of boats and a rain cover and they are good to go. Just move production to the 1st floor.
