dreambox DM800SE - mount nas drive help ?

Anyone shed some light on mounting a NAS drive on the dm800se, there is quite a few options and wanted to get some help before I break anything ?

Was looking at doing it through the menu, I also remember that I used to be able to do it via the dreambox web interface, but not sure if you can do that with the DM800se, well I could not find anything in the dm800se web interface menu for it.

Yes you are right... I was getting the wrong directory setup.

Its important to make sure you have the correct directory structure

IE

Active: enabled
Local share name: (call it whatever you want to)
Mount Type: CIFS Share
Server ip: (you'll know yours)
Server Share: (Important to get this right) EXAMPLE --- media/videos
use as HDD replacement: no
Mount options: rw
username: (your nas account details)
Password: (same as above)

Above is from the original post from lorrebreaker (i just highlighted the importance of the share structure.

Also from the settings (once in the Media player) you can define the start directory... which is a very nice touch.
