Converting TS to MPG

What do you guts recommend to convert from recorded HD ts files to MPG keeping at much of the video and audio quailty as possible

I've tried format factory which works well but it dosen't do 1920*1080

Winavi or Freemake Video convertor should work m8

I use Freemake, it's free (no messy cracks or serials) and fast. If you have an Nvidia graphics card with Cuda it will vastly increase the speed.
