Is there any software out there were i can convert .tod files to mkv/h264 or MPEG4 without loosing any quality, i've been looking all over google found very little results and also a few fakes thanks for looking

You could try Freemake video converter from Freemake | Best Freeware Alternatives To Paid Video Software its FREE.

The TOD format is the same as M2T, which is Mpeg2 HD video stream with Mpeg 1 layer II audio stream, so if the program wont recognise the .TOD file try changing the extention to .M2T or M2TS.
