Hi, I paid £320 to have my spiderbox 9000hd set up last year just to watch footy including the 3 o'clock footy. All worked fine for one year and I was told I would only need to pay £30 every year from then on. However, all the channels I usually watch have been scrambled since April 2011 and the guy who set it up for me has changed his number! Before changing his number he did say that I should keep trying to get service+ connected. This has not worked for me and I read about the raid/fire so figure that avenue is definitely closed.

Now though I think it is about time I try to get this satellite thing sorted on my own instead of relying/paying others.

I realise the delicacy of this post but please can somebody let me know where to start looking as the season is about to start and I'm pretty much clueless.

service + is working again, however not fully to the extent it was.

i am fairly sure i read on the dark site that no football/sports channels are included in service+ at the moment example futbal on d+19e
this may change for start of season you may have to buy add on i think darkman has stated two new boxes on hjorizon to replace 7000 and 9000 whether support continues for the older models who knows but no patches since feb
if you want to try the other just google what you are after there are plenty of forums out there for you to have a look through then make your mind up nothing is guaranteed through bband remember your mates round local team playin bband goes down or spiderserver or whatever server black screen
it may be worth waiting and if tring or whoever show epl buy a subcard i think tring was about £200 last year
