Wow I havent checked in here for a while not being an actual tm800 owner but I have always said that I would like one if the thing could read 0963 card with internal card reader and function with cccam alone as a server, I know cccam is slowly becoming the least preferred option at the minute due the functionality of oscam for certain channels, so my question is this, " is anyone using oscam on the tm800 and the internal reader" if so I'l be shoppping myself next week.
How is oscam superior to cccam in reading the white card mate?
Cheers,

cheers for that.
I guess i'll have to familiarise myself to the workings of OScam if more channels will follow. don't really watch tv myself
thanks again,
Crazy

Hi Again,
Managed to bag myself an 800 today and got it all setup with the latest iQ image and so forth, Anyway got it all running nicely with CCcam and have had a good play about with the controls tonight great machine i love it or i thought i did.
Just been browsing PLTV on 10 east for the past hour and the picture is breaking up all the time even though i have 84% quality. So i decided to stick my nearly 2 week old 5402 on there and guess what not a single problem at all perfect picture even give me the same signal reading on the box at 84%.
My question is this the tuner on the 800 could this be faulty or could i have possibly got hold of an old stock 800 that has not been upgraded if so how do i tell if it has been upgraded or not.
Thanks for any help guy's
lift the lid off and read the label on the tuner,
should say something like alps-801A M (which is the latest i believe)
this is a pretty common problem with all of the clones.
channels that work flawlessly on other boxes might show issues on the clones.
this is especially magnified with poor quality/old/rusted/damaged satellite equipment.
i have the same issue on a ten year old j something cheap cable from my last sly install but it doesn't happen between original-clone on another feed off the same satelite run through webro wf100.
and cheers dd![]()
