Angry A bit of help on my 7100

The dredded thing has happened i uploaded phantom patch 140 and the stb was working fine for weeks but yesterday the volume button on the remote would not change the volume the tm was showing that it was getting a signal from the remote. So i tried uploading the official original tm firmware from the technomate.uk site 140 ,but when in proces of uploading it got stuck at 21%
and after 10 minutes i had no option but to turn it of at the back and hope for the best, but my tm is dead now.I often though this would happen while uploading a patch but never with original firmware.
I woud like to know what is the proper proces for recovering my 7100
I have a 15mtr long null/cat5 cable and i tried loading patches with this before
But i never got it to work yet.

using the all tm loader from here

    Download center

connect your null modem lead, and load the firmware into the loader, click connect then turn on the power to the receiver, and the file should start sending, itll take a while to send

oncedone, turn the power off and back on, and you should be good to go again

15metr. is very long the null cable.
before you buy new try this
click connect, wait 5 seconds then turn on the power to the receiver.
if nothing happend again the next step wait 8 or ten seconds.
