I've only uploaded an exploit for Splinter Cell, but they do exist of 007, and Mech Assault aswell

5.11 is the last available version and I would recomend using the SID511.Installer.USB file instead of SID511,installer file you can then install XBMC as your dash straight off.

Hi guys i'm new to the xbox scene,i just bought an old xbox,it has been c'h'i'p'p'e'd,i wanted to make a media centre out of it,e.g,i want to put a 320 hard drive into it,or even a 500gb,then i would love to back my films,music,and even games onto it,the game part so to save and prolong the lasers life,and it would be easier and less of a pain to play them straight from the internal hd,but this is the hard part,i have absolutely No Idea about doing anything to consoles,is there an easy (idiot proof) way of doing this like installing anything from a cd or something ? i did try my 320 hd drive into it and it came up on the screen that i need to contact service or something,i do know it did it because it did'nt have the dashboard loaded onto it,and the bit i do know is when i fire the xbox up it starts up then goes to the hd and loads the dashboard from it,i did read that i have to do it by ftp,but i tried that for days and got no where..i'm at the point of pulling my hair out now..i want to resorect this old thing and bring it up to the modern day and hopefully keep it in use for another few years,i have asked a few people if they know how to do it but they laughed themselves half to death because its an old xbox,they just said throw it away..

If it's chipped it's going to be fairly straight forward. You should be able to install a new drive, and then use AID (Auto Installer Deluxe) to prepare the HD and install the dashboard. AID will probably have an old verison of XBMC installed so you will need to update it via FTP, but again this is fairly straight forward. Good luck and keep hold of the original hard drive just in case things go pear shaped :-)

Hi, new to xbox modding so bear with me. i have a similar issue with an already modded xbox. I seems to have a software mod, but it was running a very media centered version of xbmc. unwittingly i got it to reboot into the msdash and deleted xbmc through the memory function. needless to say now the mod seems fairly useless. i noticed that unleash x showed up in the memory as a save file, so i then put a copy of unleash x on a cd and am able to boot from that disc into unleash x so i can ftp to the box. i tried putting splinter cell exploit and sid5 installer in the memory saves file, but will just freeze splinter cell and no forward progress has been made. any suggestions?

ok, i needed the ntsc version rather than pal. got it and am now installing!
