hi all i did a bit with cable but ive never looked in to sat before so last night i ordered a blackbox 500s and phoned sly to have it installed the dm500 will be with me tommorow so i need a point in the right direction

well for a start you dont need sky to just install the dish unless your taking a sub out, but as you have bought a 500 im guessing your not, give us abit more info what your planning on doing and we can help you!

just read up on the sat forum
basiclly you install chosen image to dreambox
pair you card with the dream and then your ready to go
little more info on what exactly yor planning to do with them is needed for more advice

hi yes sorry mate my plan is to get a sub then get a 2nd blackbox 500s and cardshare it round my home to the kids rooms and the master bedroom

ok my sly as been installed ive flashed my blackbox with pli jade put my box key in my cccam.cfg i set my sat to 28.2e eurobird 1 astra 2a/2b/2d done a scan all working now what do i do or is that it ???

thats the next step i just wanna get to grips with the box a bit first and im looking to install multi lnb,s on my dish so i can pick more up

I thought about that way but instead i just picked up another cheap sly dish and pointed it to 13 E i stuck the dish on the back of the garage out the way.

Have you installed a decent bouquet yet mate ?
The silverfox one on here is pretty good it mirrors the Sky epg
