I'm not saying it is 100% safe m8, but I am saying you don't need the psn to do it as it doesn't even attempt to login or prompt so should be no different to updating by some other means. But that's just my opinion.

Also if you're talking about PES being modded with big custom patches and dlc then I understand totally as I did that myself and now I'm stuck with a patch on my system that won't load as it's outdated but because you have to add or remove 1 by 1 I'm just going to keep it there lol.

well i gave up and have rented the damn thing from blockbuster lol so at least i know i'll have a good rip!

Depends what you want m8 as there's custom patches for almost everything, so if you want full Bundesliga, SPL, npower Championship there's a PS3 patch for it.

I recommend an npower Championship patch though esp if you do Master League. More English teams then obviously. I recommend you check out Pesfan forum as there are PS3 patches for PES2011 on there and I know fact there's a Championship one on there as I got mine from there. All these patches btw have full Premiership kits etc so it's really more down to which extra leagues you want bud.

Oh and little tip for you if you play online, if ever you get ranked against a top division player (i refuse to say top player lol) watch out for the cutback goal as they all try it! In fact the top division is full of cheaters that know how to and always look to score the cheap goal. But at least there's no quitters. I can't stand Fifa for that.

I was playing PES online just now, haven't played it for a while so I'm unranked, got drawn against a division 1 player and naturally he got 2 cheap goals and I lost 3-2 but I scored a blinder with Adam Johnson top corner jobbie really good finish. Still did me for 10 points though. Dogshit!

it doesnt matter what i download they all say its the wrong version.

all i can find online for my version of the game (bles 01020) is for pack 1.01 or 2.0 but the ps3 only offers to install 1.02 so i dont know where this 2.0 comes from. im fuming at the moment as the game just isnt the same without the right names and kits
