Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

....and this one is for Phoenix Bios'. Tested on 3 models before 2009 and worked. Tested on one model 2010 which ddnt work.

Toshiba BIOS Password removal (Older models with Parallel Printer port)

Ok this methos will rid your Toshiba laptop of BIOS password if you have forgotton.

Get yourself an old Parallel printer cable.
Strip the plastic cable insulated bit.

On the front of the connector, you will see the pins are numbered.
Trace the wires and join the following cables together:


1-5-10
2-11
3-17
4-12
6-16
7-13
8-14
9-15

eg, join wires 1, 5 and 10 together. You can solder them or just twist them together. Same with 2 and 11 and so on.

Once you have created this, turn the laptop off, plug the parallel cable in and swith the laptop back on.

This has been tested by me personally on many Toshiba laptops and ca confirm it is working.

This works for any PC's and laptops.

If you can get into your PC but do not knw the setup utility password for bios, open up DOS comman and type the following (Be careful when in debug mode as you can screw your motherboard up). Also, the first o is the letter o and not number 0.

debug PRESS ENTER
o 70 2E PRESS ENTER
o 71 FF PRESS ENTER
quit PRESS ENTER


Or when in debug mode for the following BIOS versions.

AMI/AWARD BIOS
O 70 17
O 71 17

I tried this recently and it didn't work, I think it does on very old models though. I found a link to short under the WiFi flap during boot.

HP Compaq NC 6320 Bios Password Removal

Take the battery out
Remove the slot for the RAM.
There are 2 screws on the top corners, they are for the keyboard, unscrew them
Turn the laptop around and lift the keyboard.
Under the keyboard there is a CMOS battery which is covered in yellow plastic, has a wire coming out of it and plugs into the mainboard, unplug that.
Leave for 5 minutes.
Plug the CMOS battery back in.
Do not plug the battery in but plug in the charger.
Switch laptop on.
Press the function key to go into BIOS setup. You will get an error message saying date and time is not set.
Just continue and in BIOS, reset default settings.
All done.

hi mate i have a dell inspiron 1011, thats asking for hdd password, how do i find out what it is? or do you know what it could be? phoned dell but they want money to give me the password,
