Well, first and foremost, I don't believe in the possibility of time travel.

If you had a time machine, and ventured back in to the past, the second you arrived in the past, you would have changed the course of history, as you were not meant to be there. That being said, with history changed, you might not have been born, therefore, you'd not have been able to go back in time in the first place.

In regards to venturing out in to the future; how can you go to a place that doesn't yet exist? I don't know what this cell phone clip is all about, maybe it was a hoax? In addition, surely if said person was from the future (as mentioned already) she'd likely have hands free opposed to an actual mobile phone, then you've got to ask the question of who was on the receiving end of that phone call, and why.

I don't think time travel is possible. So much can go wrong, and as mentioned above, if you went back in time, you'd run the risk of erasing your existence, thus wouldn't be around to go back in the first place.

if you had a gun and could use as time machine to go back in time to shoot yourself,how could you come from the future if you from the past have been shot??

basically you have wiped future events with this action

and as for time, isn't there a theory that it is a fourth dimensional construct and that everything actually happens simultaneously and time doesn't really exist?

Haven't read that, but it still doesn't explain why said woman was talking to herself. If she had a hearing aid, great, but she was still talking, and she wasn't with anyone.

I'm pretty sure they still had batty old women back then, or even Alzheimer's or other such illnesses or any number of reasons old people talk to themselves.
