Just wondering, has anyone had any problems with the v+ box and the hdmi socket on the tv?

got a v+ box 2 weeks ago. used my hdmi connection for a media player for months previously, 2 weeks after the v+ box installed my hdmi sockets dont work. now using scarts. happened to mention this to a neighbour and he said his mum got same problem a few weeks after getting a v+ too.

just wondering if this could be an issue with the box or not

not sure if this is relevant,but when i first got my old TV Drive box from telewest my box went down and when i phoned about it they told me to switch ends of hdmi cable. ie put the end that was connected to tv into box and box end into tv ! i thought they where taking the pi** but it worked !! just a thought,maybe worth a try !
