Hi All

I have an Iphone 3GS on 3.1.2 (7D11) Jailbroken with Blackra1n. My baseband is 05.11.07 and my SHSH is on Sauriks cydia server for 3.1.3.

My question is how do i upgrade to 3.1.3 without loosing all my Jailbroken apps and data. Im not to bothered about unlocking to all networks i just one a clean upgrade to 3.1.3 and keep all my apps and data.

There are so many different tutorials im getting confused. Any help would be much appreciated

upgrade to 3.1.3 then use Spirit to jb

because we have os4 now for the iphone so if u update the normal by choosing to retsore u wil do so to os4, u will have to download the 3.1.3ipa once u have that from

open itunes and then @ the same time as hitting the restore but hold down the shift key , a box will appear and you then browse to where u have downloaded the 3.1.3 firmware for your device and then restore

have you synced ya ipod , i use install0us version , 3.1.12 within settings make sure u have itunes sync on then in itunes, and when ya device has shown up right click on your device name and choose option transfer purchases.

I have downloaded the 3.1.3.ipsw for 3gs however when i press shift and restore in itunes i get an error message saying "not eligable for restore"

Hence i am still on 3.1.2 so how do i get around this? i know that cydia has my shshs for 3.1.2, 3.1.3 and os4 but i dont know how i can upgrade to 3.1.3

IMO there is no point upgrading to 3.1.3 there are no real enhancements, or differences in the OS.

If it aint broken, then dont fix it. But from your error have you downloaded the right version of fw?
