Great to see this as i have just bought a desire. Android is pretty good, far from perfect but I think on the whole its the best phone os I've used and I've owned an n900 (maemo) a hd2 (Windows mobile) not to mention various symbian devices
(Although many people refuse to regard symbian as a smartphone OS lol)

Still think the n900 has the best web browser though in terms of compatibility. I miss it.
