Discuss mp3s went burnt to disc not showing info of music - help please at the Burning CDR + DVDR within the DigitalWorldz - Satellite, Cable, Console Forums; ok the mp3s are named but when i burn them to disc with nero they just show as track 1 etc .
i want them to show artist and name of track .

they dont show if wav

ok in nero i
click on audio cd
the box where it sais write cd text on cd IS TICKED
i fill in where you can put the artist and name of cd
click new
find cd i want to burn, drag them across
then click burn
is that ok ????

i mate i know they are named but are they tagged and if any of the 2 other suggestions dont work mate , if u let me know what choons they are ill sort this out for ya

ok gone to song clicked propertys then audio propertys and under where it sais audio quality where it says contains it says - idtag[id3v2.3[UTF16]
so is this tagged ok ???

ok still trying to sort this out grrrrrrrr
im burning a whole cd which is on my hardrive with nero when i burn it to cd its just coming up with just track 1 etc no info like artist or track name
when i do burn it to cd with nero , and yes the write text to cd is ticked
and i open the cd to see the files they are
Track01.cda files etc
help please

That is what you will see for any audio cd (including shop bought).
If you go to rip the audio cd back to mp3 you should see all you tracks correctly named. With windows media player when you are in the 'RIP' tab right click on the album and choose update album info and all the correct information will appear. Other rippers may put the named tracks in by default.

ok , but when you buy a shop bought cd and play it , it shows the artist and song doesnt it ????.

hi mate have you tried another burning prog by any chance to make sure it isnt the downloaded cd that is the problem , like i said if u uploaded the album mate i will c what i can do ,
