whats this phone like mate was thinking about getting 1 next week, are they good or what, i love the look of it!

Got one last year and the missus has bagsies on it when I upgrade. Really simpl to use, quiter fast now I updated the firmware. Camera isn't great, tbh, esp. flash quite murky.
I really like it, gonna get another one for upgrade and give it to herself cos I cant be arsed swapping all my settings and stuff!

Looking at the Legend phone a while ago: not interested in t'interwebs on a phone, I don't twiter or anything, so it's not that interesting to me. What I did like was that when it rings, when you pick it up the volume decreases automataically, or if you turn it face dow, it goes silent. That's smart, love to see that kind of app for the 5800!

Depends what you want to do. I've my 5800 a couple of months and have a fair few apps on there now.

Most of them are gonna use your Internet connection, so make sure you're on an unlimited Internet deal or only run the apps every so often.

Opera - better web browser
Fring - MSN & other messaging, Skype, etc
Gmail
Youtube
Snaptu - collection of other apps
PhoneTorch - uses screen or flash LED as a torch
Mail for Exchange - even if you don't use Exchange, can be set up to sync with Google Calendar
Internet Radio - Lots of Internet radio stations, can add others
Mobbler - Use Last.fm
PhoneLocator - Can use the GPS to track your phone if it gets nicked
Google Maps
iPlayer - think it only works over wi-fi
AccuWeather - weather forecasts
X-plore - a browser, like Y browser, but free if you put up with a 3-second nag screen
Shazam - let it listen to a bit of a song & it'll take you what the song is
Sky Mobile - depending on your provider, you can get Sky Sports package on phone for £5 a month
Ovi Maps - full GPS with voice
