i was given some points so download a game i had choice to download to wii mem or sd card what the diffrents if i put on sd card do it mean i can use sd card in friends wii to play game and can i move it from mem to sd card

another thing is the first game i download would not play on my tv with the component cable had to put standard composite cable to play the game is it worth me swaping the cables all the time or are they as good as each other

It won't matter where you download it to as you can move them after. Not sure if it will work in an other wii, worth a try.

I only have the standard cable so cant help you with that.
