Iam looking for a bit of help or advice, i have a pal wii which i managed to semi-brick with a ntsc game, when i boot the wii with a game cube controller it says 3.3 eur. i managed to install the homebrew channel and the usb backup loader which works great but i cant get into the wii settings page to change date and time which is wrong i get the opera error. Is there any way i can update the wii to the latest update so i can use iplayer and get into my settings.

Any help would be great,

Hey, have u tried using the 3.1 to 4.1 any Wii mod???

New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii

I would recomend using this and this has a safe v4.1 update and thats the one im currently using and downloaded the BBC iplayer and interney channel with no problems.

Just make sure you back up your NAND first as this will recover 99% of bricked Wii's.

Also you can down load BBC iplayer as a wad and install in that way instead of through the shop channel.

if you use that tutorial you can upgrade to 4.1 yes, AND ALWAYS MAKE A NAND BACKUP!
