What recent Img files support component out for the Dbox. My mate was looking to improve his picture so I told him to use the component out but cant get it too work.


Anyone use the component out ?

Component out? I have a dbox2 and it doesn't have component out, but I do have a scart to RGB and works a treat using all images! think you I have mine set to YUV + CVBS.

Component out works fine select YUV in the videout settings

what image are you running mate?

Currently using an old digital-worldz image (works fine with my IDE interface). TBH honest I haven't come across an image without component support for about 5 years or so (you could add back in the days through the scart.conf if I remeber correctly). Has he got the correct lead?

So he tells he. He is bringing it to me on friday so I can see it. So we will wait and see. I have never had a dbox long enough to try it. But my old DM500c in DW Neutrino had no component out feature so was wondering if it just image specific weather its there or not.

Component video out is available from the TV Scart socket of the dbox2 ( but not the VCR scart)
