ive seen 2 ways to softmod the original xbox ive seen
the 1 in the stickies using ndure & the 1 using splintercell /mech assault
which way is best ? what are the advantages /disadvantages of each?

I don't know the ndure method but have used the Mech Assault one plenty of times.

I vaguely remember having to try a few different USB drives before getting one the Xbox liked. You also need a USB to Xbox controller adaptor. After that it's a doddle.

It installs the replacement dash but you have to install anything else yourself, like XBMC. Again though, that's easy, just FTP the files to the right place.
