i am trying to change background on desktop to a snow scene(my backgarden)but i cant see the txt on logos plainly as they are in white.how do i change to black pse.make it nice and easy step by step pse

This puts a box around the text, so it should do the job

On XP...Go to

START
CONTROL PANEL
SYSTEM
ADVANCED
PERFORMANCE SETTINGS
VISUAL EFFECTS
CLICK CUSTOM
Scroll down
Click USE DROP SHADOWS FOR ICON LABELS ON THE DESKTOP
APPLY

You can change the colour of the box from the various settings within display properties.

He's got Vista on his laptop (according to another post), but hopefully this'll cover it as well.

I'm thinking about ditching XP for a bit & moving back to Win 7, might as well move with the times

And you might want to get shot of that Model T Ford at the same time, and that gas lighting you have is soooo 1890.

what i meant was im conversant with xp (im silver surfer) it took me ages to master but i cant master vista yet and it takes me ages to download etc.you cant teach an old dog new tricks.
