hi guys, i got my wii chipped quite a while ago now, its got a d2pro chip init, i was after abit of advice for installing the usb loader as i have far to many disks around the house now lol, am i right in thinking it would be best to install bootmii and hbc, then take a nand back up(just in case with my luck), then install usb loader ? or would i need a ios file installed or several ios files installed ? also forgot to say im on 4.2e firmware
any help would be much appreciated ,thanks

Use WiiFlow m8 i couldnt get usb loader to work on my d2pro
prob me doing something wrong but have had no probs at all with wiiflow

you will need to do the 4.2e hack which will install neogamma you should then be able to add the wad for wiiflow to the wad folder and use either to load from the usb.
the same goes for usbloader gsx just add the wad to the wad folder

well having a nightmare with this thing lol, cant get any usb loaders working all just go to a black screen, also cant get any ios files installed or cios files installed or wad files anything,errors everytime, and by the sounds of it i need ios 249.wad i think it is installed to make the usb loaders work, ive got boot mii 2 installed and took a nand back up and also got hbc installed but thats it, also i should mention im not on 4.2 im on 4.1, it must of been a friends or my brothers or summot i updated god knows lol, im lost now really ant got a clue, can any one help be very very much appreciated got a bloody headache at minute with all this lol

if you are on 4.1 do an internet update to 4.2e this will get rid of the Hb channel and you can start the 4.2e hack and follow all the instructions step by step.

Is that the best thing to do ? Does updatin also get rid of bootmii ? The 4.2 tut i av got goes on bout removin the stub i think its called from the ios 249 , does that sound about right ? Where is best place to get the 4.2 hack and tut from ? Thanks

just follow the readme step by step and make sure each unrar to the sd card is just the files and not the whole folder as happenend to me

great stuff thanks alot, i just dloaded it now so gona update my wii to 4.2 now and that shud wipe all the homebrew things i have installed onit i believe, i have a nand backup of my wii on 4.1 so might keep that jst in case but tek a new backup wen i have updated to 4.2 while im going threw the 4.2 softmod hack you jst gave me, again thanks ill report back when i have something to report, hopefully good news lol

worked an absolute treat m8, no problems wot so ever,first time well happy, just wondering i had to install something that said once installed could run back ups so just wondering whats actually making my back up games run ? is it the softmod or my chip ?
also is this gamma channel one of the best usb loaders or shud i be looking to install another one ?
also reason i ask bout another usb loader is the gx one i installed on a friends you cud actually rip the games you had on disk onto the hdd you had attached to the wii,that wud be great for me that ,
