Anyone work for DFS on here ?

Ello ppl,

Looking at getting a new leather recliner suite, but wondering when they will reduce these as they are at full price atm lol !

They got a half price sale on, but only certain sofa's ..... and yep, none of which are recliners ! :@

Looking at getting a 3 seater and 2 seater or a 3 + 1 + 1 . Quite like the expressions or the navona

dfs | think sofas think dfs

But not gonna pay £2k plus now if they gonna reduce them before/after christmas !

Go in and mention the half price sale and say that you want the recliners but don't want to pay full price, as there is a half price sale at the moment would you reduce this by 25%, the salesperson will prob say no but then ask to speak to the manager and start haggling, they will prob reduce it by around 20% if you try hard enough.

Don't be afraid to haggle just cause its a shop and not a carboot or market stall, everybody i desperate for our money at the moment and as they have a sale on its even more chance of getting your item reduced

I bought two leather sofas last year...£3000 rrp £1500 in bank holiday sale...Tried to haggle with manager,nothing.Even tried to blag a free care kit worth £50,threatened to walk if he didnt give me something to massage my ego,he said theres the door.Ended up returning next day and payed the £1500.

I did speak to an assistant on the side,he told me they only have two sales a year (xmas & summer) the rest are just blag promotions.

Tried mate, was told outright no .... they will not and can not change prices to be exact lol

Yea this is what I am thinking, but when is the christmas sale ? surely can not be the half price one now ? that things people want are not half price LOL

Well after looking at dfs I got this, the two and three seater at the top... for £1499. Be here in 12 weeks or sooner

Gives me time to get ceiling done and walls papered
