since my fun is fried, are these easy to do? what card do i need? ive downloaded the tut but still none the wiser, i need an open rom card it says? any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

ill get a card first then try to suss it out, my fun is capoot, and atmegas are gone i think, its for a pace1000 on telepest if that helps anybody, and ive got a dynamite progger.

Rom Cards are either Rom 7, Rom 10 or Rom 11. You can tell this by looking at the writing at the end of the barcode bit, something like 0115C01 would beam Rom 11 Rev 5C01 but this could be incorrect if the card has had it's revision updated by VM while it was in a box.

i don't mean to sound rude here, but from ur first thread, ur trying to make out that u know what ur doing to get more help from peeps, u obvisouly don't, so stop trying to miss lead peeps thnking that u do, as this makes it even harder for the ones that do try to help u. do some reading of previous threads and learn from them which cards are which and which ones u need...i'm still waiting for ur reply as to where u downloaded this tut from ??

It depends on how in depth you want to get mate.The best way is to emulate a real card by using tiers with the correct information on them I.E modification dates / begin date / expire date / rights date etc or you could use a blockered rom image that just needs your box key and ird inserted in to it . I guess this sounds really confusing but its not that hard . Try and get a rom image and open it in nagra 4.1 and look at the tier tab and you will get a better understanding of what i am talking about

First of all you SHOULD have done as much reading as possible on this stuff to get an idea of what helpers are trying to tell you,
That way YOU will know what we're on about *and we'll know what you need in HELP WISE !!!

If you'v got a Dynamite programmer then you'll have no problem doing a M.O.S.C,

Things you need for the job:

1. Open Smart Card (if you cant get 1 then you need a glitcher/unlooper)
2. Nagra Edit
3. Nagra Date
4. Rom Images (for your area) best get a Rom10 & Rom11 image

Before i go any further i will sugest that YOU are a bit late in getting into this stuff as its soon to an end when Nagra 3 hits the streets !!!
So DONT go spending fortunes on circuit boards unloopers/programmers & cards if your thinking your going to make alot of money by learning this stuff YOURSELF instead of PAYING someone else to do it for you....as this is what many people tend to do

Anyway back to topic lol

get the above except the programmer as you'v said you have a Dynamite
