My PC Connected by Network cable to a Belkin N 1 wireless Router
its been working great until I have installed windows 7 from and now it keeps dropping the connection when I open internet explorer and the Orange Internet icon on the Belkin flashes, I have to log out on the pc to get the connection back any ideas

Also if I have my Virgin Internet upped to there 50mb from my 20mb
will my Belkin N1 wireless router still be ok to use with the 50mb connection.

i had a problem like this when i upgraded to win7 a few weeks ago. kept getting on to the internet for about 5 mins and then it would lose it's connection and had to reboot wireless router. after a lot of investigation i realised i had my network set up as 'Public' on Win7 rather than 'Home'.

don't know why it kept dropping connection but this sorted it for me. hope it works for you
