Call of Duty MW2 - PS3/360 - £26 - Sainsburys

On sale £26 from 12.01am on Tuesday 10th November 2009! This was posted on HUKD, however i specially made a trip to Sainsburys for my own piece of mind to confirm as i like many others didnt think it was true..... took the box to the till and assistant confirmed its £26. She said i couldnt pre-order, but i could reserve on the day, my store opens at 7am and so do the majority... there's only a few that are 24hrs.... i must point i took the 360 box to the till because there were no ps3 one's on the shelf, however she did tell me that 99% it would be the same price... One per customer...

dunno m8, hopefully the entire lot! im gona ring and reserve my copy. i can see there being big queues on the day and just cant be bothered queuing up, plus im expecting this to be advertised in the papers on monday.....

I've also seen a post @ digital spy I think, stating asda are doing the same for £27 so the price war looks like it's on! lol.

Just rang my local store and they said they cant confirm it comes in at £26 and that they are not taking reserves

thats why i took a trip myself m8, people sayin so many different things and it was only a 5min drive. i was told they would reserve on the day so be on the phone around 7ish. however im gona try and reserve tmrw and monday if i can lol

thanks for this my 360 just got banned so i was looking to buy it for the ps3 ive a asda less than 2 mins from me at night time anyway so ill nip down im at work tuesday though, something to look forward to when i get home i surpose

Asda seems the same as Sainsbury that they haven't got a clue about pre-orders, but i'm sure if you get a conversation with the right person you should be able to sort something, Asda price was stated for a 24 hour period only.

I've got a 24hr sainsburys n asda within 2 mins an will prob cue like I did for WAW! Sad Old Git! lol

My wife has just finished work in asda she works in the epos room

i asked her t other day to keep an eye on the bar code from my pre order recept

at 11.30 pm the system updates itself for the following week but special offers happen at 11.40 pm

anyway here is the info that is given on the screen sorry unable to give photos as its more than her job is worth (i shouldnt even be saying on here )

10/11/09 bar code ----- 505141371166 PO CODMW2 XB stock inhand 688 stock available 500 Price £ 32.00

11/11/09 bar code ----- 505141371166 CODMW2 XB stock inhand 150 stock available 150 Price £ 39.99

what she says is the stock available is the amount that will go for sale after pre orders have been settled so in her store the price will be for the first 500 peeps only on the release date.

although she has admitted that saibsburys is going to be cheeper as there 20% games offer starts today as well but from the internal memo there stock is very very limited
