Hi EveryBodee!
wot is tcp/ip v6? should i install it on XP? will it interfere with v4? does it help or hinder my connection? I've Googled it [tcp/ip v6] and cant seem to get any info other than it's new and not too many people are using it if any!?!?!??!
Thanx In Advance

Cheers Vry helpful!
I kind of get most of it! ha! the main point being - Ignore it all for a bout 7 years or so! probly by then we'll all have Octa-Core Hyper super multi thread 4.2Ghz Cpu's with 7G DDR9 RAM running Windows9 SrvcPk4 and we'll be using 802.11z dongles running at 9999Mbps and we won't have to worry about configuring any settings anyway ... Probably ...
Thanx Again!

By then we will all be connected and have screens built in to our eyes and have it streaming on demand :)

in short tcp/ip v 6 is the next generation of IP addressing, the current IP v4 address range will run out soon and v6 in theory allows every single person on the planet to have 100 unique IP address

you can install it if you wish but ip v6 networks are very limited and it wont benefit you much, as it nothing to do with net speed but more to do with IP address range,
