Xbox Xecuter 2 - Boots to normal screen ?

Hi

For some reason my boys xbox has thrown a wobbly, firstly the menu options for games, apps, mame etc all disappeared.

So i threw in the install disc i have to format/install everything again.

When i boot it not i get the xecuter 2 logo on booting but it then loads the standard green xbox menu/screen not the chipped version ?

Any ideas why

have you got the evox dashboard file named default.xbe on the root of the C drive - as this is what the BIOS looks for when booting up, if not it will load up the default MS Dash

this is what my evox.ini looks like (part of the stratup screen)
