Hi there, i was successful at the job interview and i have got an induction tomorrow at Homesene (Tk Max). This will be my first induction and i'm getting slightly nervous to say the least. Homesense is just starting and there was 50 vacancies. We will be meeting at a hotel 9-5pm sat-sun. Whats involved in these inductions?

Despite what you imagine pal I think most people are scared rigid at the thought of talking in front of a group, I am for certain.

You are not on your own and as you never seem to other people as bad as you seem to yourself.

Just look at the others and know that they feel the same as you.

Thanks guys. Hopefully they don't expect each and everyone of us to introduce ourselves on a stage. I'm hoping they expect us to introduce each other when we see each other rather than on a stage. If i was on a stage or alike i think i would give it the 2second

Another way I've seen the introductions done:
They may ask you to chat to the guy/gal sitting next to you, and ask you to find out their name and an interesting fact about themselves. You then each introduce each other to the group, which is slightly less daunting than intro'ing yourself and helps break the ice with your new colleagues.

Well i went today and they done as bard said. He said to us all rip of 5 sheets of toilet roll so i did and some others did also. I had to tell everyone 5 things about the person next to me. It went OK i suppose but its the same tomorrow. Just hoping retails my bag!

hi yottabit sorry only saw this today.

I would say, as others, in those situations unless you are very confident or are a salesman (dickhead) everyone will be bricking it......BUT....i would also go on and say if you passed the interview then somebody thinks you are the man for the job, so dont worry too much.
