All he said was they are using a new coding that will not be cracked (well thats what VM saying anyway) I've heard about them going down in Ireland but I didn't think it would be over here yet
I trust what he says as he is a family member but just passing on what I've heard
I cant see Vm going down the N3 route anytime soon. It will cost them millions to implement - new firmware - new cards - etc... Things happening in Ireland bare no relation to whats happening here - they are a separate company altogether!!! Oh and engineers in general are the last ones to know anything !!

i have hit a problem guys i have tried doing a atmega and a opus and it just re-boots if i take the card out it works but im unable to record i have formatted the drive but still no record.
could anyone please tell me if u need to have a card in to use the v+ record facility

These same stories have been doing the rounds for a long time earthshayker and the "deadlines" have long been and gone and we are still here.
Best draw your own conclusions mate cos no-one knows anything for certain, especially an installer.

Thanks m8 I was looking at getting one but to pay £250 for a modded V+ only to get a few months use out of it was a bit crazy.
I'll sit tight on it for a while then see if the price comes down or I get it cheaper somewhere else

Hi, im having exactly the same trouble mate, atmega re-boots the box over and over, not been able to get an answer yet, my box is all set up to go but its the card stopping me from enjoying it!!
