Went to Zante last year and there was an earthquake which was awesome. ( 2 people died on the mainland which obviously isn't awesome - before someone points it out ) Led on the bed and it started wobbling and I was thinking wtf. Stood up and the whole building was wobbling ( was on the 3rd floor ). Very strange actually feeling it but I'm glad I did.

I had only just dropped off my case and went to the bar when the whole place shook.
Reckon its' a regular occurrence there. Didn't spill my drink though.

Zante suffers alot with earthquakes, was there 3yrs ago and had 11 earthquakes in 5 days, biggest was 6.7 and smallest 4.5 and like you we were on the 3rd floor, all buildings are no more than 3 floors high because of the quakes.

the people who live in zante are not bothered by them and carry on with what they are doing, when you see things like the main road ripple in front of you or the pillers in the hotel sway and the building shake like mad you do get worried

Yes, plus the fact that it's the law over there to make the buildings earthquake proof helps. They build them on swimming pool foundations.
