I sent 2 items that were won on eBay and paid through paypal on the 28th July, the 2 pair of next toddlers trousers came to £19 + £3 P&P, now a claim has been made against my girlfriends account, they emailed each other etc, I have the recite with the date wight cost etc. but didn’t post record it. The dispute is now a claim and I know there is no other way of winning this.

My question is can I get anything back from the Royal Mail regarding lost mail?

For all I know mind It might have been delivered and as it wasn’t post recorded all the buyer has to do is make a claim.

if it was sent recorded yes you can if no proof of delivery ( no sig ) you can claim up to £35 i think

because it went for £19 i dont usually bother post recording it, i was told by the local post office i have to wait 28 days mind, but the reciet is the only prrof and the paypal disbute so can i claim of the postal service?

not if you sent it normal post m8 i dont think try it you may be lucky but dont hold your breath
