Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Dw Neutrino v2.0 and the nerd Hello everyone my first post- I need help, I've got a open media 500c box that was running well on the DK 1.1 image untill my young lad did a factory reset on it - he earned himself a clip round the earhole! - I was tempted to re flash with the same file but I decided to give the Neutrino a ago. So I have flashed the box with the Neutrino image whick looks quite nice, I feed in my local netid etc as I live in a CW area- The problem I have is that I get a blank screen on all the prem channel freebies are ok. I have looked at the keys and scce folder they seem to have the right files in place. I would like some one to guide me step by step on how to check what I have missed out. What have I left out? cams? where do I go to check them out and which cam do I need? |

Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: Dw Neutrino v2.0 and the nerd You need what is commonly referred to as the "magic files" which you FTP to your box. They include ROMs and keys for the CAM software to use to decrypt pay-tv. I think all images now come without these for legal reasons. Don't think we are allowed to talk about how to do it, or where to get them from on this forum?? Last edited by alexh; 14th July 2009 at 13:03. |

Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: Dw Neutrino v2.0 and the nerd I am having problems connecting box to the FTP I have put in the right ip address by going into settings and network and double check the address start the ftp it says Connecting to 192.168.x.xxx next line reads connection established, waiting for welcome message.... next line it says" can not connect to server... waiting to retry. What going on with this I def have the right IP for the box so why is it not dumping the files? I put in root as username and dreambox as password or is it something else for this neutrino image ? |
