On a serious note, when we were about 14 a mate of mine was having a piss in his bathroom and in the medicine cabinet mirror that was above the toilet he saw a man standing behind him on the landing in a blue suit. He spins round and the bloke is gone, so he ran down the stairs and into the street screaming.
When his mum came home he was curled up on the front lawn hysterical with some neighbours comforting him.

Now for those that know me I am the first to take the piss out of this type of shit, however the house that he was living in was previously occupied by a family with a teenage girl who woke up one night to find a woman stood watching her at the bottom of the bed, she was so traumatised they had to move.

Oh and remember the blue suit thing? when my mate told his mum about the man and described him she shit herself as he exactly described his own father who had died when he was 6 months old, and who was buried in his favourite blue suit.

Absolutely 100% true. The lad to this day sweats and shakes when we talk to him about it.

You know how some kids have imaginative friends?

My sons 'friend' was called Craig.

My son used to wake up in the middle of the night and say that a kid called 'Craig' was scaring him. One night we woke up to hysterical crying from his room, we ran in and he said that 'Craig' had been there and was pulling really horrible faces.

I calmed him down and he eventually went to sleep.

Next day, I thought I should talk about it with him, so I asked him what had happened. He told me that Craig had appeared again but this time he looked like a monster, I asked him to describe the monster and he said "his face was really squishy and covered in blood".

That same day, I was talking to my neighbour and during the chit-chat I mentioned my Sons nightmare.

My neighbour gave a nervous laugh and asked me if I was ripping the piss, I looked at him puzzled and asked why he said that. He told me that the people who owned our house before we moved in had a son named Craig, Craig had died in the street outside our home under the wheels of a bus.

Seemingly he was a bit of a tearaway and was standing on the bus platform and holding onto the handle as the bus pulled away, he then slipped and fell under the wheels of the bus, crushing his head and killing him instantly.

its really hard what to believe with stories like this, i believe in ghosts and nasties but theres every chance this boy was slapped by another boy or someone else and is too scared to say otherwise! maybe he hads been doing a ouijja board or something as many teens do?

as for messa's and witchys storys, both of you sent shivers down my spine!

Personally, I think the wee fella has broken an expensive ornament in the house. He is now blaming a Ghost.

I've got more tales about this house (nothing much really) but a few crackers about a place I used to work in (Maternity Hospital). I did the night-shift as a Porter, lots of trips to the Mortuary in the middle of the night alone - well alone except for the corpse.

I do have one but not a bad one my eldest lad who is now 9 had the small box room at our old council house before we bought our own. He used to say there was someone in his room and a bit like yours witchy he was screaming in his bedroom one night i went to see what was wrong and he told me that there was banging in his wardrobe. I did the dad thing and opened it to show him there was no one there. When i opened the door it was ice cold in there though.

He also said that this person in his room had been making horrible faces at him one day. It was always the coldest room in the house too.
