Just recieved my new crapital one card in the post but instead of the basic credit builder card which i have had for years they have sent me a platinum card!?

Thing is they aint upped my limit i still only have £200 yet the minimum for a platinum according to the web site is £500.

So what gives is it a mistake or that they have just given me the better rate of interest and benefits. You would think they would up my limit on the basic card a bit first to see how i managed it as they would make more money out of me.

does it say they rate has changed or isit platimun card with the credit builder intrest rate

Doesnt say anything on the letter but they only do 3 types of card.

credit builder 34.9%apr
platinum 15.9% apr
buissness platinum 12.9% apr

Would seem strange for them to put me on platinum with non of the benefits don't you think? If they havnt upped my limit and the balance remained the same there is no difference in the two cards.

Id give them a ring, unless someone here works for them.. Then id toss it in the shredder lol..

they are a funny bunch phone them think its still 0800 and ask sometimes it takes them longer to put the credit limit up,
i had one it took 1week for the limit to go up on me card

Yeah thats what i was thinking i wont toss it i don't use it anyway but always handy for a rainy day. Theres 0% on purchases till december on this card too.

yehh keep it never know when you need it
