Feedback Score: 0 reviews | BSOD Kernel data inpage error STOP OXOOOOOO7A (OXCO3DCC28) OXCOOOO185,OXF73OAA35,OX1BCFC860 NTFS.SYS ADDRESS F73OAA35 BASE AT F72 BDOOO DATE STAMP 48O25BCS Hi guys, I just got my computer back from HP, after they replaced the hard drive, when i was getting a BSOD and unmountable boot volume message. This was about a week ago. Over the last few days a have been reinstalling my former programs and stuff, but i have now seemed to have run into the above message, which i am getting with another BSOD. Cannot figure out what is going on here, but it always seems to happen when i am using/watching Utube videos, watching the video news on the BBC website, or just recently when using itunes. Can anyone shed any light on this. I have already run chk disc cmd, and all was ok, any help appreciated

Let it run at least one complete cycle, the more RAM you have, the longer it will take, but it's vital you let it test thoroughly. (The longer the scan, the more chance of it picking up any errors, if there are any to be found.) Last edited by Dazza; 5th July 2009 at 23:13. |

Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: BSOD Kernel data inpage error if you google the error code there seem to be many variants of the error the fact that yours is failing with NTFS.SYS and is also sugesting Kernal Data error, you could try a windows repair. did hp reinstate the windows install for you from the fault disk you originally had or did they rtn it to you blank ? as with all these type of problems it can be a slow process of illumination to get to the bottom of the fault, if its goning to go wrong i always prefer a bang puff of smoke at least you know what is duff. as suggested run mem test over night if ok do you have another hdd, if so remove newly fitted and load win back on the machine do all updates and get all the latest drivers. if you have ghost make a backup at each stage may save time as you progress then add your apps data and test at each stage until it fails.

Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Re: BSOD Kernel data inpage error Guys, Have Let the memory test run for 10 passes and no memory problems reported. Is there any software out there that will scan your full computer and tell you the latest drivers you need, as opposed to individually have to check for each one cheers

Resolving STOP 0x00000077 and 0x0000007A messages The subject STOP messages are related to the inability of Windows to load a pagefile record into memory due to either a software or hardware failure. The possible causes are: - A bad block. - Improper termination on a SCSI device. - Bad cabling from the controller to the disk. - A disk controller error. - Exhausting the non-paged pool The value of the second hexadecimal paramater may help you pinpoint the actual cause of the error: 0xC000009A: STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR, caused by improper termination or bad cabling on SCSI devices. 0xC000009C: STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR, generally due to bad block on the drive. 0xC000009D:STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, bad or loose cabling, termination, or controller not seeing drive. 0xC000016A:STATUS_DISK_OPERATION_FAILED, also caused by bad block on the drive. 0xC0000185: STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR, caused by improper termination or bad cabling on SCSI devices. | |

Cheers, but there isnt a thing i havent came across researching this problem. Google is definately my friend here But what the blumming hell do they all mean LOL I am currently trying to find an easy way of using the MS debugging tools, and extract the kernel dump file. But finding it difficult to locate were the memory dump file is on the computer. after googling a few things, i keep on getting directed to the cmd prompt. I have followed the instructions, but keep getting "not found". is there any way just to search for the dump for/ or navigate to it on the computer ? cheers guys
