chaps downloaded a game this morning and have the files in a folder, when i click on the par then it comes back and tells me that no repair is needed, how ever there isn't a rar to extract the files via....the files are all called

name.01
name.02

etc, if i change it to a rar then i can go to extract but it then tells me that i need a name.00 to continue, looking on the newsgroup site there isn't one.....

yet quickpar is coming back telling me that the file is fine.....normally i'd extract and it would give me a .dvd file and a .iso....

just opened the *.01 with winrar and away it's went...

You have to unpack the 001 file this is the first. I use total commander to unpack these files, but you should be able to unpack it by opening it with winrar.

You dont need to rename anything.

You can right click on any of the rar files to extract it, not always will the test.001 be the first rar... test.rar or test.000


It makes no dofference if you right click extract on test.001/test.050/test.900

its all same archive and will extract without any issues
