My younger sister works in a corner shop part time every Saturday in a place called the Renton.
Her mother in law runs the little shop and has spent the last year building a nice little business.
Just after opening the shop at 6am, 3 shady looking guys entered asking for hot rolls.
They were stammering and sweating and looked very suspicious so her son who cooks in the back room came out to serve.

All 3 pulled out hammers and started to smash the glass counters and went for the ciggies and booze.
All the staff backed off as they were clearly dangerous.
However they started to demand cash and as the shop had just opened the till was empty with only the float of £50 change.
When one tried to hit the owner and my sister the son jumped in and got hit several times in the head.
In total fear the mother grabbed a knife and stabbed one of them and they ran off.

So the good old bobbies arrived and what was the first thing they did!!!!
Cautioned the owner that she may be charged with attempted murder!!!
WTF is going on in this fuckin country when you cannot defend your own life?
My sister is a nervous wreck, the son is in Paisley hospital with severe head wounds and the mother can hardly speak a word without breaking down..

I saw the shop which was wrecked and covered in blood by these animals.
The only good news is plod did catch them and they are all druggies.

When the fuck in this country are we gonna stop protecting the crooks and start protecting the innocent.
A woman tries to save her son from being beaten to death and could now face an attempted murder charge.

She has only been cautioned and will not likely face charges.
If she was charged then a plea of self defence would well stand up.
I dont think she needs to worry on that score tbh

Cautioning her is completely unnecessary to the investigation.

If they wished to pursue it, they could alert her at the time. To bring it up, when the poor woman has suffered such an ordeal is disgusting.

I hope they catch the fuckers, and hope she caught an artery.

I run a small business too. If anyone started either here or at my home, they would be wearing so many knives their back would look like a coat rack.

The idea of a proportionate response in a completely irrational situation is complete folly. The sooner we realise that as a nation the better.

Feck sake m8, hope your brother-in law is ok, like IanB say's I wouldn't worry about the attempted murder caution I think it's just a standard thing with the police to cover their asses, as for the druggies there's not a punishment that's too harsh for these scum their the worst kind of humans walking this earth and I would gladly met out any medevil torture you could think of on them, without guilt cause I fookin hate them with a passion.

its becoming a laughing stock now, the law always seems to favour the guilty now, and even more harder to convict and when you do get a conviction what do they get? Weel if they young they get took holidays and given all sorts? or they get a slap in the wrist then when they get older they get put in a cushy cell with tv and likes? ps3 xbox and wiis to play with? even in carstairs they get dvd players and big tvs in their room WTF and what do normal society get? told to get on all 4s and get it shoved right up ye

Cant get rid of it m8 but it should be adapted.
Anyone in the act of a violent crime etc should automaticaly have any human rights protection removed.

best thing for anybody to keep by them in this type of case even to carry with them is a tin of spray deep heat
u can say if carrying it you have just bought it or if in a shop you have just applied it spray the fookers in the eyes better than c-s gas

A quick update.
It was three 17yrld boys who had been drinking and taking drugs all night.
They came into the shop at 06.15 asking for tick..
When they were refused the left and then came back 10min later armed to the teeth with hammers and a cro bar and started smashing everything up and tried to steal ciggies etc.
They even smashed jars of stock and caved the front window in.
They were local neds and the police caught them within 30min of the crime.
The one who got injured had deep tendon damage to his hands and a puncture wound to the shoulder.
Thankfully my brother in law is better than we first thought.
After all the blood was cleaned from his face, he only required 6 stitches but will remain in hospital for observation .

The police have been complete tossers and have questioned the mother for the last 3hrs.
She now has her lawyer present but is still in bad shock and a doctor has been requested.

I cannot say too much about the guys that did it but my bro in law has a huge family in this small town and i wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

My little sister is a nervous wreck.
I would give anything for 5min with these little bastards in an empty room....
