I echo contacting STV. I contacted them about an injustice that happened to someone close to me a few years back. It was Scotland Today team that I got in contact with and TBH they fell over themselves to get interviews and all the "Drama" they could. It was a similar situation as well, so id go for it mate.

the police seem to like charging the innocent, its as if they are too scared to touch anyone who is 'bad' and prefer to get the numbers up with good innocent people

Hoppy, that's fecking shite mate. Can only echo what others have said, this country is screwed more than it ever has been.

I can't believe the coppers are basically saying she should've stood back and let him take a full beating with a hammer etc. And then charge her for trying to defend herself and the lad... Mental.

He is ok witchy, i was visiting him earlier.
They want him to stay in hospital for a few days but they have told us that its just routine.
He has a bad gash to the side if his head but he told me most of the blows hit his arm.

The police spoke to us and told us that one of the guys that did it finally broke down and admitted the lot.
However the police said that the mother has still to attend court on Monday but they are pretty much screwed.

The guys had no idea who actually owned the shop as its a huge family and they are no saints.
The 2 boys from the Renton have been advised by the police not to return there and to find alternative housing.
The 3rd lad from the home is to be taken back there, its in Paisley i think.

The whole village has been brilliant but they are a bit shocked.
Its one of the guys dads i feel sorry for as he is actually a really good bloke and he is shattered.
