 | screen saver on dvd for normal plasma dont know if theres one out there but Id like to see what a screensaver like water falls would look like on a large normal plasma just for tranquill noise etc when its not being used during the day obviously It would easier if you can get one on a dvd and just burn it on loop- rather then having your lappy connected to your tv all day out of action. anyone ever tried this ? |

Plasma TV's use a load of electricity compared to other TV's like LCD and CRT. Running a video of a waterfall through the TV isnt exactly the same as having a screen saver on the TV. You may even run the risk of burn in on the parts of the picture that are not moving. |

| DW Respected Member | Re: screen saver on dvd for normal plasma I have a few one is called DVD TV which has several screen savers like Log Fire, Ocean and also has some obscure ones like washing machine. Another one is, Amazing Aquarium Video, several tanks and different kinds of ish. I got them from Lovefilm and copied it. I got this one too from Lovefilm, Exotic Saltwater Aquarium - BLU-RAY Version, and copied it, it has full 1080p video footage of 5 different tanks. Only useful if you can play blu-ray disks tho. (this is available to download in the newsgroups but it's 27gb.) There is one on the newsgroups if you use them called, Plasma.Aquarium.720p.WMV, you could burn it to DVD. It 278 days old, so you'd need Astraweb or Giganews. Last edited by Captin; 4th July 2009 at 13:27. |
