to explain i am trying to install american conquest divided nation on vista system not online.
the game wont load but there is a ptch for vista which you can donload,unfortunatelly the oil company i work for has blocked all game sites so i cannot get the patch.
Couls somone please get the patch for american conquest (cdv software) divided nation on vista and upload it here or send me link.
Much appreciated

Just so you are aware, this patch does not fix any Vista issues apparently, but this might help ..............

"I have run the game under Vista by setting the dmcr.exe file as running under XP SP2 compatibility and as Administrator. However, the graphics were not brilliant in my case, that being a driver issue. there is no Vista patch as such. The patch released was for gamers running the game under XP with high-end graphics cards that were optimized for Vista and DirectX10."

thanks messa rep added.
I think its to do with the starforce drivers as that comes up the error.
I have tried in xp mode running as administrator but no joy.
The American conquest fightback works fine.
Will let you know how i get on
