The box PVR has been shite from day one - Dont ever buy one - However reclently this stupid box has decided when its switched off or there a power cut i need to re-install all the settings/channels by doing a scan and everything restoreds back to the normal software settings, I was wondering if anyone has any hints to how to fix this ?

i had similar problem with either switchin the box off or leaving in standby , wen bootin the box up again it seemed i had to rescan , then i found that if i pressed ok wen the language screen comes up and then hit exit wen the menu appeared on screen i did not have to rescan as all the channels and setting were still as i left them

Yeah i have to do that as well, Thats not so bothering but when the power goes out i need to re-scan it a quite a pain in the arse lol.

Cant wait to get shot of this pishy box lol.
